Internal Sales Manager

Overview

An excellent opportunity awaits for a dedicated Internal Sales Manager to join a manufacturing company in Littlehampton. The primary role involves leading an Internal Sales Team and ensuring coordination between the internal and external sales teams making it a key component of the company's success. You will also work closely with the Sales Director to align the sales strategy and ensure targets fit within this strategy.  You will be joining a prominent global manufacturer with a diverse product range, designed to meet the most demanding customer needs. Comprehensive product training and ongoing professional development will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Location: Based in the company’s offices in Littlehampton and occasional travel to customer sites.
  • Team Coordination: Manage the internal sales team to achieve targets and align with the business strategy.
  • Integration: Foster collaboration between the internal and external sales teams.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the Sales Director to incorporate their strategy and ensure targets are in line with the overall sales strategy.
  • Sales Targets: Work towards individual and team targets, contributing to overall business objectives.
  • Customer Support: Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide necessary information.
  • Performance Management: Provide regular feedback, manage performance, and produce sales reports.
  • CRM Management: Document all activities in the company CRM system.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in managing sales team.
  • Industry:  Experience within a technical sales environment within engineering/ HVAC or a manufacturing discipline is essential
  • Team Integration: Successful track record of merging multiple teams into a cohesive unit.
  • Strategy Development: Experience in formulating and implementing sales strategies.
  • Motivation: Ability to inspire and motivate the team.

 

Package

  • Salary: Competitive salary and competitive bonus scheme
  • Pension: up to 5 %
  • Holidays: 25 days increasing to 30 days with service
