D365 BC Systems Manager - Retail End user - £60,000

Reporting to the Process Development Manager, My Client are looking for a Systems

Engineer to ensure the highest level of system infrastructure across all

phases of the business journey, working proactively to identify potential

issues and liaise with relevant parties to ensure optimal solutions are

identified, developed and implemented. This role requires a deep understanding

of business processes in order to guide the business forward and act as a

support for any team looking to optimise workflows and process through

systems.

 

Responsibilities:

- Monitor, maintain and improve all existing data feeds and integrations already in place.

- Answer and support any time questions in case of script failures or data inconsistencies, solving issues in a proactive manner, ensuring the team are able to continue work without delay.

- Create new data feeds and integrations as required to support changes to standard operation procedures in liaison with the relevant teams.

- Manage new website development and implementation, acting as a support for external front-end and back-end developers, in the new website development process, ensuring the right decisions are made to facilitate business requirements with the ERP scope firmly in mind.

- Ensure right data feeds and integrations are tested and operational for website go live date.

- Create and maintain solution documentation.

- Play an essential role in the implementation of the business’s first ERP, securing a global system landscape that meets business requirements while always keeping time and resources in mind.

- Oversee strong liaison with external system integrators assisting with designing, configuring and integrating ensuring this is on track and the right decisions are made.

- Undertake user training when required in liaison with external resources and internal ERP project manager to guarantee high user adaptation.

- Assist with reporting, helping the team to locate and structure data for required reports.

- Create and maintain solution documentation to support business requirements.

- Gain impeccable knowledge and understanding of ERP customisations in order to guide the business going forward on updates and enhancements.

- System: Microsoft Business central 365, Power automate, Power BI

- Evaluate projects, proactively looking for any areas of improvement and further development, ensuring overall efficiency and streamlining of processes.

- Document workflows and identify paths for improvement.

- Gather requirements and perform GAP fit analysis.

- Day-to-day management and coordination of external IT partners (Microsoft Partner).

- Lead support efforts on the organisation's Dynamics Business Central system.

- Manage additional technology integration projects when identified in liaison with relevant parties

- Support team with new report creation as needed

- Act as the liaison between company stakeholders and the external Microsoft partner.

- Follow the general development within tech, in order to see to that the business is always aware of latest possibilities within its current and future system landscape

 

Requirements:

- Experience with implementing an ERP solution is highly favourable, and more so if implementation was of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 365

- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 365 is advantageous

- Proven experience in system integrations between multiple systems, working with a wide range of tools, such as webhooks and APIs

- Strong understanding of system administration best practices, performance monitoring, and optimization techniques.

- High attention to detail and ability to understand a multisystem landscape and it’s interdependencies

- Strong communication skills in order to guide the business best through its various transitions

- Great time management is essential to keep projects on track and within budget

- Good knowledge of textiles/materials with a focus on garment production.

- Excellent communication skills, English proficient.

- Understanding of the luxury retail/wholesale environment and good attention to detail.

- Strong team player, leader, with hands-on work ethic.

- Keen to follow and build processes, highly organised and can work well under pressure.
