Job Description 

Step Teachers has partnered with a Jewish school in Barnet seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher on a full-time basis due to commence in September 2024. This school has a proud tradition of outstanding academic standards and with that a broad range of extra-curricular activities for learners to partake in. The Year 2 Teacher needs to be able to hit the ground running and be passionate about early years and the fundamentals there of. This is a Long-Term Supply role.

As a Year 2 Teacher - Role: 

• Strong KS1 curricular knowledge
• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed 
• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable 
• Ability to assess and report on your students when required 
• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons 
• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively  

Year 2 Teacher - Requirements: 

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of 
• Have recent mainstream school-based experience  
• Have good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
• Experience working in a Jewish School is desirable
