Step Teachers are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our dynamic agency. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of learning for students during the absence of teaching staff. Key Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work.
• Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies.
• Support students with their learning, answering questions and providing guidance as needed.
• Ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
• Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate member of staff.
• Assist with administrative tasks and duties as required.
• Participate in school activities and events as necessary.

 Requirements of a Cover Supervisor:

• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom and maintain discipline.
• A positive and proactive approach to working with students.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varying needs of the school
