CAM Programmer | up to £51,000 | Chelmsford, Onsite

Pearson Carter are currently working with an exciting start-up company who specialise in building high tech software for automated machines. These could be used by companies who manufacture things such as aircraft or cars.

Responsibilities:

• Develop CNC programmes using Mastercam or Siemens NX, leveraging AI tools when applicable.
• Guide the manufacturing process from fixture/work holding design to final product completion.
• Collaborate with production engineers to optimize machining processes and tool capabilities.
• Ensure availability of necessary tooling and order consumables for uninterrupted production.
• Interpret solid models and understand GD&T requirements from drawings.

Experience:

• Strong experience with Siemens NX and/or Mastercam
• Good experience training and mentoring junior members of a team
• Any start-up experience would be beneficial

Salary

They offer an excellent salary package: up to £45,000 base salary + additional bonuses and benefits including a £6,000 bonus and equity of the company!

Location

The client is based in Chelmsford and they are looking for someone to be in office 5 days per week working on a shift schedule.
