Days (7:30am – 4pm) – Flexible start and finish times

We are looking for a multi skilled maintenance team leader to lead a team of 4 maintenance engineers at our manufacturing facility in Wellingborough.
A family run business in operation for over 30 years we are specialists in what we do and boast an excellent retention rate and employee satisfaction is paramount to our operation. We have made substantial investment into new machinery across the site in the last 2 years and have further growth plans to continue doing so.
Your role and responsibilities will be both hands on and hands off (Roughly 60:40 Hands on vs hands off ratio)
From a hands on perspective you’ll be involved in planned and reactive maintenance on mills, robots, roasters, blow lines, blenders amongst other food based machinery. Hands on responsibilities will include delegation of work, PPMs, continuous improvements, ordering spares, presenting breakdown data.
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a multi skilled maintenance engineer, ideally with team lead experience.
- Ideally from an FMCG/Food manufacturing background – Applicants from other backgrounds e.g. Automotive, Distribution are still very much encouraged to apply.
- Proactive and an attitude where you love getting stuck in on jobs.
- Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in a maintenance related discipline.
