Are you a skilled Supply Chain Manager with a strong background in engineering, production, and manufacturing? A highly established Manufacturing Engineering firm with over 100 years behind them are currently on the hunt for a dynamic individual to oversee and enhance their end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement, forecasting, inventory management, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager:

• Lead and manage supply chain activities to ensure timely and efficient product distribution.
• Oversee procurement, inventory management, and transportation, focusing on cost control and process optimization.
• Utilize data and BI analysis to drive cost savings and improve efficiency in production and shipping.
• Build robust relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
• Optimize inventory levels to meet production needs and financial targets.
• Improve shipping processes and manage the transition of goods within the organization.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the supply chain team.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align supply chain activities with manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications of the Supply Chain Manager:

• Degree in Engineering, Production, Manufacturing, or a related field; MCIPS membership preferred.
• Expertise in ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365.
• Strong IT literacy, data analysis skills, and experience interpreting technical specifications.
• Proven experience in managing supply chains within engineering, production, or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to handle pressure and balance priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.
