Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Salary: £44,216.00 per annum 

Orion is partnered with a well-established business located in Rugeley which is recruiting for an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.  There is a large electrical element to this role so the ideal candidate will need to have electrical qualifications.

Ideal background will be: FMCG, Manufacturing, production etc..

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Duties:

• Reactive & PPM’s on plant machinery and equipment – Packaging machinery, mills, conveyors, motors, sensors, relays, invertors etc…
• Lock-off procedures completed
• Ensure all maintenance is carried out using CMMS system correctly
• Assist with electrical installations and equipment upgrades as required
• Support the site’s operational excellence through a proactive and hands-on approach
• Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring minimal downtime of equipment

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Experience:

• NVQ in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in a heavy industrial plant environment
• PPM’s, reactive maintenance
• Continuous improvement
• Experience with the maintenance of heavy industrial plant machinery and equipment
• Multi-skilled background, ideally 50/50 mechanical and electrical
• Industry experience in food, feed, beverage, automotive, or volume manufacturing
• Previous experience with PPM and CMMS systems

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

• Competitive salary  up to £45,000.00 DOE
• 30 days holiday + Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day off
• Competitive overtime rates (1.5x on Saturdays, 2x on Sundays)
• Flexible working hours with an 8-hour shift between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm
  

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Day Shifts:

Monday – Friday 07:30 – 16:30
