Benefits and Housing Needs Officer needed in East London Paying  £21.31 per hr ref 1363800

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• Prevention work - negotiating with host, aware of S21 notices being legal and eviction process, dealing with landlord harassment, know about N244 re-entry, work with probation and deal with Domestic Violence
• Provide Options and Advice - look at Housing Benefits, Discretionary Housing Payments, maximising income, debt management, liaise with Housing Supply
• Homelessness - know when interim duty is triggered, placing in TA and what is required, take homelessness applications, make necessary investigations and make decisions.
• To work from home
