RECfinancial is exclusively recruiting for a forward thinking Leicestershire based business in their search to appoint a new Assistant Accountant.

The role is based in an impressive office which is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby and Coventry / Warwickshire.   Reporting to the Finance Manager, this newly created role responsibilities will include bank and balance sheet reconciliation, analysis post month end, journal entries, assisting with year end and preparing the VAT submissions.   The business is keen to hire a candidate who is career minded as the company likes to promote employees through the business. You will be a self starter and will have started either the ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification - the business offers full study support.   The company is a great employer. They are employee focused and have a very low turnover of staff. The working environment is grown up and they offer hybrid working.   It's likely that you will already be working in an Assistant Accountant type role and enjoy the more technical elements of accounting.   The role has a salary range of between £34,000 to £40,000 plus benefits.
