Week 1 : 6am - 2pm / Week 2 : 2pm - 10pm

The Company:
Due to a period of growth my client is looking for an additional electrically biased maintenance engineer. They have recently invested millions of pounds into new machinery including a new £600,000 investment into Trumph lasers and robotics, vastly improving the factory and upgrading to a state of the art environment. Their order book is incredibly healthy, increasing annually, which assures your job security in these difficult economic times.
As a maintenance engineer your role will be a mix of reactive and preventative planned maintenance, working on:
- ABB robots, Pick and place robots, vacuum ovens, chemical plant machines, punch tools, presses, and bespoke machinery
You will also have exposure to Siemens S7, Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi and Telemecanique to increase your knowledge of PLC fault finding.

Experience required for the maintenance engineer:
- Qualified to level 2/3 (NVQ/C&G) with an electrical discipline
- At least 5 years’ experience maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery
- Multi-skilled or electrically bias maintenance engineer. Would consider multi-skilled but electrical knowledge is key
- PLC knowledge is advantageous
- Must be able to fault find well electrically, read drawings, open a panel and identify and fix a fault etc.
