We’re working with a luxury print business based on the beautiful Norfolk coast who are currently seeking an experienced Print Estimator/Production Planner to bolster their busy production department. The business specialise in bespoke techniques including die-stamping, foiling, litho and digital printing as well as a vast variety of hand finishing methods.
This person holds overall responsibility within the department for accurately estimating costs and assisting to plan production of luxury print projects. The Role
- Create accurate and detailed estimates for bespoke project work for new and existing clients.
- Analyse project specs, artwork visuals and other supporting documents to prepare comprehensive estimates.
- Raise the job bags and work closely with production to go through the intricacies of the work prior to scheduling.
- Review and analyse historical data and market trends to ensure a competitive and accurate price.
- Liaise with internal departments such as production, client services and design teams to align production capacity with project demands.
- Maintain excellent communication internally and with suppliers, conducting quality checks during production.
- Process and complete jobs in line with client requirements and company procedures.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure they meet agreed deadlines.
The Candidate
- Previous experience as an estimator within a print environment, knowledge of pricing bespoke luxury projects highly advantageous
- Understanding of print production processes, materials, and techniques.
- A great commercial acumen, numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a pro-active and solution driven mindset.
- Willingness to work on site each day
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary & Benefits
The salary for this role is up to £40,000 based on experience.
