Job Title: Construction Administrator

Location: Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire
Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 (DOE) 
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent

Role Overview: As a Construction Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects. You’ll provide administrative support to project managers, engineers, and the wider team, helping to manage documentation, coordinate project activities, and maintain efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize project documentation including contracts, invoices, and schedules.
  • Coordinate communication between site staff, suppliers, and clients.
  • Assist with the preparation of tender documents and bids.
  • Monitor and update project timelines and ensure key deadlines are met.
  • Handle office administration tasks such as answering phones, scheduling meetings, and managing supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Liaise with the finance team to ensure timely payments and invoicing.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software (desirable).
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of construction terminology and documentation processes (advantageous).
