Maintenance Engineer
Birmingham

£40,900 + overtime x1.5/double time

Week 1: 6am-2pm
Week 2: 10am - 6pm 
 

My Client are currently undergoing a huge transition to increase automation of the plant by 40% including a £20 million pound investment creating new automated lines including a brand new line of ABB robots which is being commissioned this year. This a great opportunity for an electrically biased maintenance engineer looking for a role that involves more automation and a chance to up-skill with internal and external training. The environment is very clean and packed to the rafters with bespoke machinery. This role doesn't just involve maintenance but also an element of project work. One week in six you will get to chose your hours and do a Monday-Thursday and have Fri-Sun off work. Extremely flexible working hours to suit any last minute changes to your day i.e. needing to pick the kids up or start late.

Experience Required for the Maintenance Engineer

  • At least three years working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer ideally electrically biased, if mech bias need to have good electrical skills 
  • experience with safety circuits, relays, sensors, contactors, etc. PLC inputs/outputs 
  • Experience with robot's advantageous no essential 
  • Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer from any background welcome to apply: Food, FMCG, Packaging, recycling, heavy, metal processing, plastics, automotive, Building products etc.
