Base + Quarterly Bonus (OTE up to €120,000) + Expenses

For over 20 years this global paper group has partnered with mills around the world to offer paper, packaging and pulp. Due to continued annual growth the business is now recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager to join its dynamic team.
As the Business Development Manager, you will be tasked with driving sales growth within the paper, packaging, and pulp industries across multiple regions. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong network of customers and experience working as a paper trader.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales within the paper, packaging, and pulp industries, along with experience in a paper trading environment. You should be comfortable with a consultative sales approach and have the motivation to increase revenue for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers within the paper, packaging, and pulp sectors across the assigned regions.
- Leverage your existing network to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Utilise a consultative, solution-based sales approach to address customer needs, focusing on long-term value.
- Organise and manage your schedule and activities effectively to meet sales targets and regional goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for clients, with an emphasis on relationship-building and long-term partnerships.
- Regularly update CRM systems to track and manage customer interactions and sales performance.
- Present sales strategies, progress reports, and forecasts to senior management.
- Actively pursue both personal and professional development, staying up-to-date on industry trends, market changes, and sales techniques.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the paper, packaging, and pulp industries with an established network.
- Proven experience working within a paper trading environment.
- Demonstrated success in consultative or solution-based sales, focusing on customer needs beyond pricing.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate solutions and value propositions clearly.
- Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to manage your own time effectively.
- Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or similar tools.
- High energy, composed under pressure, and driven to achieve results.
