Independent Living Housing Officer needed in Wimborne Paying  £16.09 per hr ref 5256861

Full time hours on a temporary basis 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain presence, visibility, and accessibility to customers throughout their tenancy.

  • Conduct annual “check-ins” to ensure customers’ safety, wellbeing, and independence.

  • Organize scheme meetings and support customer voices.

  • Facilitate social inclusion activities and signpost community resources.

  • Perform risk-based Health and Safety and Neighbourhood Inspections, addressing site issues promptly.

  • Foster good communication with care providers and partners in Extra Care Schemes.

  • Monitor and manage housing management performance using systems.

  • Support and enforce Safety First and Rent First strategies.

  • Manage tenancies with strong case management and procedural adherence.

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

  • Report safeguarding concerns.

  • Stay updated on policies and procedures, applying them in daily work.

  • Utilize multiple IT systems to maintain accurate records.

  • Embrace new ways of working and commit to professional development.
