Data Scientist | €65,000 | Onsite, Malta

Pearson Carter are working with a multi award-winning company who have pioneered financial services for over 50 years. As Malta’s largest homegrown Fintech, they are reshaping financial services by offering a comprehensive modern technology platform that integrates investments, payments and card services for individuals and businesses alike.

They are looking to add a Data Scientist to their team with the goal of progressing this person into a Lead Data Scientist!

Responsibilities:

• To design, develop and implement models to allow the business to make key decisions
• To collaborate with AI team to fine tune AI models
• To collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless integration
• To develop and maintain scalable and efficient machine learning pipelines
• To analyse data to gain insights and improve performance

Experience:

• Should have strong programming skills in Python or Rust
• Should have experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries
• Should have proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
• Should have experience with API integration and development
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Data Science would be beneficial

Salary

They offer an excellent salary package of up to €65,000

Location

The client is based in Malta and you are expected to be in office full time.
