If you are looking for a challenging, hugely exciting and rewarding role, this could be the job for you. We’re looking for a Legacy Marketing Officer who will plan and deliver legacy marketing campaigns, to engage and inspire our audiences about this special way of giving and ultimately, to convert them to leaving a gift in their Will for this disability chairty.
As Legacy Marketing Officer, your role will be key in growing the pipeline of prospects for one of the charity’s largest income streams, and in helping to create a better future for the 1.4 million people with a learning disability in the UK.
Gifts in Wills make up over 60% of this charities fundraised income. These gifts allow us to be there for people with a learning disability and their families through every stage of their lives – from supporting parents at the point of diagnosis and ensuring children get the right support in their early years, to helping people with a learning disability live with independence, freedom and dignity in their later years. Without gifts in Wills, we simply could not offer as many people with a learning disability this vital support.
The Legacy Marketing Officer will work with internal teams and external agencies to ensure that we have the right tools and resources to inspire as many individuals as possible to leave a gift in their Will. You will deliver marketing activity across a range of channels, capturing and tracking data in order to evaluate and improve the performance of your campaigns.
You will also collaborate with the Individual Giving team to explore new initiatives and new ways of working in order to maximise legacy pledges from direct marketing.
As Legacy Marketing Officer you will need experience of working to tight deadlines, be well organised and have experience overseeing more than one project at a time.*
If this role sounds of interest to you, submit your CV together with a covering letter explaining why your skills and experience make you the right person for this role.
