Duties as a General Science Teacher:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons up to KS4, ensuring lessons are stimulating, inclusive, and aligned with the curriculum.
• Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback to support student progress and achievement.
• Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment that fosters curiosity and a love for Science.
• Differentiate instruction to cater to a range of learning abilities and needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and participate in departmental meetings.
• Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and academic success.
• Support students in developing their scientific thinking, practical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Ideal General Science Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Degree in Science or a related subject.

• Experience teaching science at secondary or primary level (preferred but not essential).

• Strong understanding of different learning styles and teaching strategies.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a General Science Teacher.

• Passion for science and education.
