RECfinancial is working with a Leicester based business in their search to appoint a new Financial Accountant.   The role is based at a smart office which is based on the south side of the city, its commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Coventry / Warwickshire, Nottingham and Derby.   Reporting to the Finance Director this is a new role that has been created due to business growth. The will take ownership of the businesses statutory accounting, financial accounting, assisting with the budgeting, VAT returns, cashflow forecasting and working with the FD to improve the departments processes and information that goes out to the wider business.   The client is keen to hire a candidate who is looking for a role that will grow in the future into a more senior role in the business.   The ideal candidate for the role will come from a financial accounting background from either practice or industry and be qualified or close to qualification in either the ACCA or ACA qualification.    The business has gone from strength to strength over recent years. They are in a strong financial position and report close to a 25% profit on turnover each year.   They are a people focused business and offer a generous benefits package that includes a bonus.   The role has a salary range of between £40,000 and £50,000 plus benefits including a bonus.
