Are you a confident and motivated individual with a passion for education? We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a team, supporting students and ensuring a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The role begins April 2025.

Duties of a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes across various subjects, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work
• Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment
• Support students with their learning, providing guidance where needed
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies
• Communicate effectively with teachers and staff to ensure smooth lesson transitions
• Provide feedback on student engagement and behaviour to teaching staff

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting is desirable
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• The ability to adapt and confidently supervise different subjects and age groups
• A proactive and positive approach to supporting students as a Cover Supervisor.
• A degree or relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential
