There are schools in Watford that are seeking dedicated and passionate KS2 Teachers to join their enthusiastic and supportive teams. This is a wonderful opportunity to guide children through Key Stage 2, providing them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in their academic journey. This role begins March 2025.

Duties as a KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, ensuring all students receive the support and challenge they need
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning and personal growth
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all students, ensuring engagement and achievement
  • Support students in developing their academic, social, and emotional skills
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour management and classroom discipline
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members, teaching assistants, and parents to enhance pupils’ learning experiences
  • Participate in school life, including extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience or a strong understanding of teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Be passionate about teaching and supporting children's development
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and creative teaching strategies
  • Be committed to providing a positive and engaging learning environment as a KS2 Teacher.
  • Be a reflective practitioner who is eager to develop professionally
