Environmental Protection Team Manager needed in Croydon

The rate is £45.24ph PAYE

The successful candidate will actively and effectively manage the day to day operation of the Environmental Protection Team in accordance with decisions, Scheme of Delegation, Standing Orders and Financial Regulations and operational policies and procedures and to develop the Service in accordance with the policies, practices, priorities and standards set.

They will manage the effective delivery of the following statutory functions delivered by the team: Investigation of statutory nuisance, Regulation of pollution control from industrial premises, Regulation of Clean Air Act, Regulation of Private Water Supplies, Local Authority Air Quality Work, Contaminated Land

They will also be responsible for the efficient execution of the range of duties and commensurate with the professional competence of a qualified Environmental Health Officer (EHRB registered).
