Field Service Engineer – Finishing Equipment

We’re working with a market leading, innovative solutions business in the labels and packaging sector to assist them in their search for a Field Service Engineer to join their growing technical team.

With a strong reputation built over decades and a workforce consisting of hundreds of professionals worldwide, this organisation continues to expand into new markets while remaining committed to service excellence, diversity, and continuous improvement.

Specialising in machinery used in the post-printing process, particularly within labels and flexible packaging, you’ll work on a remote basis based from your home travel is expected across the UK and occasionally overseas. You’ll be on the road extensively, so there is a requirement to work away when needed - you must be comfortable in staying away from home sometimes for continuous stints.

The Role

This hybrid position combines field-based work with site support and technical demonstrations. You’ll:

• Deliver installation, maintenance, and technical support for high-performance machinery
• Travel across the UK, Europe and occasionally further afield
• Train customers on machine operation and troubleshooting
• Represent the brand as a trusted technical advisor

The Candidate

You’re an excellent communicator with a passion for engineering and problem-solving.

• Experience in the print, packaging, or machinery servicing sectors
• Ability to read and understand mechanical/electrical schematics
• A flexible attitude to travel and a self-motivated mindset
• Customer-first focus and strong organisational skills
