Job Description:

This school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to pupils in Years 3–6, helping them to achieve their full potential in a safe and stimulating environment. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform planning and interventions

  • Create a positive classroom climate that promotes curiosity, confidence, and independence

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives

  • Maintain accurate records and liaise with parents and carers effectively

  • Uphold and model the school’s values, promoting high standards of behaviour and learning

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (NQTs/Early Career Teachers welcome to apply)

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks

  • Ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills as a KS2 Teacher.

  • A team player with a positive, reflective, and proactive attitude
