Job Description:
We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to lead a nursing team in a dynamic, purpose built practice. If you’re a natural leader who thrives on mentoring others, driving clinical excellence, and fostering a supportive team environment, this is the role for you. As Head Nurse, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping nursing standards, supporting professional development, and ensuring the highest level of patient care. You’ll work alongside a talented 6 vet team, including certificate holders in ECC and Surgery, in a practice that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Key responsibilities:- Mentor and develop RVNs, student nurses, and VCAs, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Oversee nursing protocols, ensuring best practices in patient care and clinic efficiency.
- Work alongside advanced practitioners in surgery and emergency care, contributing to complex cases.
- Promote a positive, supportive work environment where every team member feels valued.
- £33,000-£40,000 DOE
- Full time, 40 hrs/week (4 days plus 1 in 4 weekends)
