Job Description:
Workspace Operations Officer needed, £12.45ph PAYE - Reference: RQ1520185
The officer will predominantly provide customer-facing support, addressing queries and issues promptly to maintain a high level of service. They will also need to work closely with colleagues, teams and support services to ensure the smooth-running of the facility.
The officer will also contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery and the creation of a collaborative environment within the centres. The role will support the strategic goals relating to economic development and innovation.
Responsibilities
• Support the Manager in the day-to-day operational running of the assigned workspace, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively.
• Provide customer-facing support to tenants, customers and users.
• Undertake customer engagement and tenant liaison activities.
• Support set-up and delivery of meetings and events.
• Support the Manager with strategic planning and business development activities for the assigned workspace and help ensure delivery of business plan objectives.
• Work in close coordination with colleagues across other teams and internal support services who are involved in workspace delivery.
• Support the Manager in optimising workspace utilisation and rental income, including through marketing and promotional activities.
• Help foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the workspace for tenants and users.
• Handle issues or complaints relating to assigned workspace, escalating as necessary.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery.
• Strive to implement sustainable practices to reduce the environmental impact of workspaces.
• Help the Manager with ensuring compliance with all statutory Health and Safety and Fire procedures.
• Ensure the building is secure through management of alarm systems and security processes and be a key holder and secondary point of contact (after the Manager) for out-of-hours problems.
• Support the implementation of the strategic goals in economic development and innovation.
• Be available to work at other workspaces if needed.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
