Production Manager – Manufacturing

Location: Slough, UK
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Excellent Benefits

We are proud to be working in partnership with our manufacturing client, a global leader in technology, in the search for a highly capable Production Manager to join their UK manufacturing operation based in Slough.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced individual to take ownership of a key leadership role within a world-class engineering and technology business.

The Role

This is a senior position in the operations function, reporting to the leadership team and responsible for supervising production activities with a team of 20. You will lead the entire production process as a hands-on, people-oriented leader, leveraging your strong background in manufacturing, process improvement, and Lean principles methodologies.

Production Manager Key Responsibilities Include:

• Planning and managing production resources to meet output and financial targets
• Monitoring production progress and ensuring timely delivery of products
• Upholding quality standards across all manufacturing processes
• Leading, coaching, and developing production staff through structured performance frameworks
• Driving process improvements using Lean tools and best practices
• Creating a culture of continuous improvement and team collaboration
• Tracking production KPIs and initiating improvement plans
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and maintaining housekeeping standards

The Ideal Production Manager would be:

• Experience within a manufacturing environment
• Previous success in a production management role
• Deep understanding of ERP systems and production planning
• Proven track record in applying Lean and continuous improvement methodologies
• Encouraging leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
