Trainee Estimator
Monday to Friday 8-5 (8-3 on a Friday)
 
14, 7 and 3 years. That’s how long our small team of Sales Estimators have been with us. All joining with little to no experience.
 
We’ve given them all the training, guidance and support to become fully established and self-sufficient. 
We have a good working environment in a nice office where we crack on with the job, get everything done to the best standards but have fun with it. When our heads aren’t stuck in Excel or talking to customers to move projects forward we’ll be talking about the weekends football and protein shakes (as it’s that time of year).
 
Are you looking for a job where you can make your mark? We’re looking for the sort of person who when ordering a Chinese on a Friday picks up the phone to get it done. This job requires a confident ‘can do’ outlook to life and work.
 
As mentioned above, we want you to come into our well established business and be shown the ropes. You’ll need to be inquisitive to understand how things work alongside a good basic level of Maths and English you’ll be seeking a career opportunity not just a job.
 
What will you be doing day to day?
Handling enquiries – all inbound or warm. No cold calling. 
Providing quotations – Using Excel and other systems- Full training given.
Following up on quotations- You’ll want to know what does the customer think? Are any alterations needed and crucially, Shall we order it?!
Liaising with other internal departments – ensuring the projects run smoothly.
