Job Title: Stores Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 (Depending on Experience)
Hours: Flexible – 40 hours per week (choose your own days and schedule)
Shifts: Options include 4 on / 4 off, 4-day weeks, or flexible daytime patterns

This is your opportunity to be part of a dynamic, international manufacturing and packaging organisation with a reputation for innovation, sustainability, and excellence. The role as a stores engineer will be in charge of administration tasks, stock taking and ordering of parts.

Stores Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain engineering stock levels
  • Order replacement parts, tools, and materials as needed
  • Maintain accurate stock records and inventory control
  • Regularly check and audit stores for usage and restocking needs
  • Liaise with the maintenance team to forecast parts demand
  • Keep the stores clean, well-organised, and audit-ready
  • Update and monitor ordering systems (Windows-based platforms)


Previous Experience:

  • Experience in maintenance coordination, stores, or stock management
  • Good working knowledge of ordering/admin processes
  • Confident with Windows-based software and digital stock systems
  • Numerate and literate, with solid communication skills
  • Physically capable of moving stock and navigating the stores environment
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage tasks independently
