Step Teachers are looking for the next generation of educators to join our team across Enfield, Barnet and Haringey, specifically within secondary school environments. Schools are actively seeking enthusiastic individuals for key roles such as cover supervisors, teaching assistants, and classroom support staff.

What to Expect:

  1. Online webinar: Within one week of the closing date, selected applicants will be invited to complete an online webinar.

  2. In-Person Training: Successful candidates will be offered in-person training to equip you with the tools and methodology needed to thrive in a classroom.

What We’re Looking For:Essential:
  • Grade C/4 or higher in Maths and English

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Passion for working with young people

  • Confidence in managing behaviour

  • Willingness to learn and grow

Desirable:
  • Experience in a school or youth setting

  • Degree or relevant qualification (not essential)

Working Hours & Flexibility

We offer flexible roles, including full-time, part-time, and temporary-to-permanent opportunities.

For continuity and consistency in schools, we ideally look for candidates who are available Monday to Friday, from 08:15 to 16:00. However, we understand that everyone has different commitments, and we’re happy to discuss your availability to see how it can align with a typical school schedule.
