We are seeking adaptable Cover Supervisors in Abingdon and the surrounding areas for daily and long-term roles in secondary schools, starting as soon as possible. Cover Supervisor Duties:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring continuity of learning
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects and year groups
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support pupils in staying on task and completing assigned work
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil engagement and progress
• Uphold safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times

Ideal Candidate – Cover Supervisor:

• Has experience working in a secondary school setting
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
• Is confident supervising pupils across different key stages and subjects
• Has a proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning
• Holds relevant qualifications or training (e.g. degree, TA qualification, Cover Supervisor training)
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
