Homeless Advise & Prevention Officer needed in Skelmersdale

The rate is £16.55ph PAYE

This is a temporary role

The successful candidate will assess individuals presenting as homeless or at risk of homelessness and will provide practical advice and support to prevent homelessness and secure appropriate accommodation.

They will conduct one-to-one interviews to assess housing needs and will investigate cases and liaise with local agencies to determine statutory duties and will offer timely advice on housing options and liaise with third parties to prevent homelessness.
