Quality Assurance Engineer

Expired

Job Description:

Are you passionate about quality and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

We’re looking for a proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join a dynamic operations team in Uxbridge, driving operational quality standards and ensuring every product meets exacting customer expectations.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Act as the daily point of contact for all operational quality matters

  • Monitor and report on quality metrics including customer escapes, scrap rates, and inspection turnaround

  • Champion a “right first time” and quality-first culture across the production floor

  • Lead investigations into root causes, develop corrective actions, and embed long-term quality improvements

  • Manage the non-conformance process (NCRs, MRB) and ensure timely, effective closure

  • Refine inspection processes and control plans to boost in-line quality and reduce returns

  • Inspire teams to take ownership of quality through collaboration and accountability

What we’re looking for:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Proven experience in quality systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methods

  • Confident user of Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to excellence

  • Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact on quality performance and operational success. You’ll be part of a team that values precision, accountability, and innovation — with plenty of scope to grow and shape how quality is delivered.
