Nursery Room Leader – Full-time, permanent role starting as soon as possibleThis full-time Nursery Room Leader role begins as soon as possible and offers a permanent opportunity in a nurturing and well-organised early years setting. Children are happy and settled, and staff provide a safe and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore and learn through play. Leaders are committed to continuous improvement and ensure that staff are well-supported and confident in their roles. The setting promotes strong partnerships with parents and carers, contributing to children’s positive development and well-being.Duties as Nursery Room Leader:

• Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children aged 0–5
• Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to individual learning plans
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to team planning
• Maintain a clean and organised learning space
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers

Ideal Nursery Room Leader:

• Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Experience working in an early years setting
• Leadership experience is essential
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Room Leader
• Passionate about supporting young children’s development
• Able to work 9 hours per day on a full-time basis
