With products that are independently proven and make a real difference to the feel of an engine and available at a great price, it is a fantastic opportunity for garages and workshops to offer it as an additional up sell service.THE ROLE OF A FIELD SALES EXECUTIVE:
As a field sales executive, you role will be simple: to take control of your local area and grow business within it.
The customer base primarily consists of automotive garages, workshops and franchised dealerships, giving you a great list of potential targets to go at. Starting a fresh area, all of the business that you develop will be yours and you will progress from a more new business orientated role into one that requires extensive account management.
With a small stock holding yourself, you will be able to demonstrate the products, sell directly to the customer or take a large order for delivery from head office to ensure you have all the tools available to be able to sell.
Working within a local area (usually defined by the postcode areas you are commutable to) means that there will be no nights away required and allowing you to concentrate on building fantastic relationships with local customers. As time progresses, there will be of course opportunity to venture further afield.
The most important attribute within a role such as this is your passion and determination to succeed as this role will be a focus initially on new business and there is no excuse for not getting out there and talking to customers.
If you have a background within the automotive industry (parts advisor, field sales, car sales) or a general (demonstrable) interest then this will always hold you at an advantage.
