Nursery Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from as soon as possible
This Nursery Teacher role is within an early years setting where children benefit from a nurturing and well-organised environment that supports both learning and personal development. Teaching is carefully planned to promote strong early foundations in communication, confidence, and curiosity, while adults work closely together to provide consistent care and guidance. Leaders place a clear focus on staff support, positive behaviour, and ensuring children feel safe, happy, and ready to learn.Duties as Nursery Teacher:

Leaders place a clear focus on staff support, positive behaviour, and ensuring children feel safe, happy, and ready to learn.Duties as Nursery Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging early years lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a warm, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for nursery-aged children
- Support children’s development in communication, language, social, and emotional skills
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress to inform planning and next steps
- Work collaboratively with early years practitioners and support staff
- Promote positive behaviour and support children’s independence and confidence
- Maintain strong relationships with parents and carers through regular communication
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and follow all early years policies and procedures
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status with experience in Early Years, or an appropriate early years teaching qualification
- Has experience working as a Nursery Teacher or within an EYFS setting
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
- Is caring, patient, and enthusiastic about early childhood education
- Communicates effectively with children, colleagues, and families
- Is organised, reflective, and committed to supporting young learners
- Can commit to a part-time, long-term ongoing role from September 2026
