They are now looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join their growing and developing business!
Aim of the Operations Manager
To work with the directors and other colleagues to help develop the business and to ensure all customers receive the product they have ordered on time and to the highest standard.
Build, lead and motivate the production team
Ensure production is focused on continuous improvement such that its capabilities will permit the growth of the business
Plan and manage production in the most efficient and effective way
Ensure adherence to the company’s working practices and processes
Ensure the company’s accreditations are maintained
Ensure that product bibles exist for every product, including templates, drawings, designs and accurate timings for each stage of manufacture
Ensure that all product achieves the necessary industry standards
Ensure that procurement provides the materials required for scheduled production
Manage and control stock at optimum levels to minimise working capital
Ensure all health and safety and other statutory and regulatory requirements are adhered to
Deal with performance issues in a timely and appropriate manner
Ensure that fellow members of senior management are kept fully informed of all relevant production and other matters
The ideal individual will come from a production background with extensive knowledge of running and managing a team and with strong IT skills, including excel.
You will also have excellent people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and customers.
