Experienced in controlling the purse strings? Immaculate in planning? Strong negotiation skills?
All these are vital when working in Procurement & Supply Chain. Especially when working for a leading name in Residential Development. New projects, tight deadlines and continue supply chain management are all vital components of operating as a Materials Buyer.
The team is well established, with 3 of the 4 team having 8 years + service with the business. It is a small team but a strong one. They are experienced, they know what works and how to get the best out of the procurement & supply chain process.
So what are we looking for?
There’s been a period of growth, a number of new projects signed off and will be signed off shortly. We need a 5th within the procurement function to manage the purchasing and supply chain within the materials category
Who are we looking for?
It would be hugely beneficial if the new member of the team had a background within Procurement & Supply Chain, perhaps as a Junior Buyer looking to step up or a buyer who is frustrated at the lack of opportunity or just relishing a new challenge.
This role involves the negotiation, supply chain management, materials planning, purchasing, logistics of materials used in Residential Development. It would be in your favour if you have existing knowledge of such Materials and from a House Building / Residential Development background.
Who will you be working for?
60 years of doing something, you’d be pretty wise. 60 years of doing something with award winning standards, you’d be highly regarded. 60 years of perfecting your trade, service and quality, you’d be a leading name within your industry.
My client has done the above impeccably well and continue to do so. High staff retention, award winning projects and a strong financial turnover and a property portfolio of over £1bn you won’t find a stronger business in the North West, possibly the UK.
You can either send through your CV to me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we can arrange a time to speak or pick up the phone (I’d quiet like this option) 0161 422 0050 and I can tell you all you need to know.
