Full-time (37 hours per week) Accounting Assistant contract to start on 18-11-19 until 20-12-19 with a possible extension.
Analyse the General Ledger Codes to answer queries from Finance Team or from Budget Holders. Analyse budget variances as required. Prepare monthly reporting timetables and distributing to Finance Team and budget Holders. Run the reports from General Ledger and send them to Budget Holders and Service Owners periodically to a timetable and as required. Manage electronic filing and assist with GDPR compliance. Maintain/update wages and salary forecast spreadsheets as required by Finance Business Partners. Prepare Board report templates (Excel and Powerpoint) and assist with completion/checking. Maintain schedules of Grants and Reserves. Prepare the budget adjustment and virement documents and ensure correct approvals have been obtained and filed.
