Job Description:

Seeking an expereicned Admin officer with Standard DBS/CRB to work on a 35 hour per week contract role to start on the 26-06-17 until the 26-11-17 with a lilkely extension.

Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Must have extensive knowledge of FWi - and working within a MASH environment.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 

To run the administration for the client's Music Centre and to ensure that:

 

  • all students, tutors and parents are accurately signed in and out;
  • only students and parents connected with the centre are admitted to the premises;
  • all administrative records are kept up to date;
  • any relevant messages are passed on to students and parents;
  • student members are supervised during the 15 minute break time.

 

Knowledge:

 

  1. Good working knowledge of office procedures and administrative systems.

 

  1. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages, e.g. Excel, Word, Publisher etc.

 

  1. Understanding of providing an administrative service in an equal opportunities environment.

 

  1. To demonstrate the need for confidentiality.

 

  1. To demonstrate an awareness of working in a multi-racial environment.

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

  1. No formal qualifications required
  1. Willingness to be trained in First Aid,. Fire safety and CCTV operation.

 

  1. Experience of using computer systems such as spreadsheets and databases and producing work to a level commensurate with the grade.

 

  1. Experience of keeping accurate records, devising procedures, organising information and producing accurate statistical information, on an ongoing basis.

 

  1. Effective communication skills to include meeting customers and clients, dealing with queries and to have the ability to respond in writing and verbally, both face to face and whilst using a telephone.

 

  1. Experience in performing general office duties.
