Full-time (37 hours per week)  Head Of Economic Regeneration   contract to start on 13-01-20 until 27-03-20 with a possible extension.

Provide effective management of the workplace's economic regeneration service. To work with the Derbyshire Economic Partnership to determine local economic growth priorities and deliver services and economic programmes to deliver objectives. Co-ordinate activity with partners to support a coherent Derbyshire offer for both inward investment and tourism promotion. Support the delivery of key physical regeneration, housing and infrastructure projects by providing economic analysis and advice. Oversee the delivery of the Digital Derbyshire superfast broadband programme and develop activity to promote the delivery and take up of future telecoms infrastructure. Secure external funding where possible to deliver initiatives and programmes to support local economic growth especially to business (including via D2N2 Growth Hub). Support the development of international partnerships to promote civic friendship, cultural understanding and economic trade opportunities. Manage the delivery of business service activity at Markham Vale Environment Centre and support the further development of Markham Vale.
