HGV Class 2 / Cat C Driver - Temp to Perm Position

Driver Hire Slough are currently looking for experienced HGV / LGV Class 2 Diver to work for a global organisation based close to Heathrow. 

This is a temp to perm position and is available right away.

The shifts currently available are Sunday to Thursday, starting at 23:00 and being between 8 and 11 hours in length.

As a HGV Class 2 driver for our client you will be delivering clothing to stores within the West End of London.  Around 10 to 15 multi drop store deliveries per night.

To be considered for this position you must have held your HGV / LGV  Class 2 (Category C) license entitlement for a minimum of 12 months, together with having professional experience of driving a vehicle of this type making Multi drop deliveries and with no more than 6 points for minor driving offences. DR, IN, or DD codes will not be accepted.

You must also have a valid CPC (DQC) card together with Digital Tachocard.

With this position being temp to perm, for the first 13 weeks you would be classed as an employee of Driver Hire Slough. Throughout this period, you can expect to be paid the following.

• £14.00 per hour via Limited or Third-Party Payroll company
• £12.50 per hour via PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)

Once the 13 weeks have passed and you have become a permanent member of staff, our customer offers.

• £14.38 per hour PAYE plus 28 days holiday (incl. Bank Holidays), pension, overtime and all other benefits their employees enjoy.
