Established in June 2017, Michael Sharma Group are one of the highest rated Accounting & Finance specialist recruiters in the Midlands. Both directors are experienced recruitment specialists and have worked for some of the biggest names in the game.

After almost three years of building a brand based on trust, we're now looking to make the first of our future leadership team hires. 

History

Are you currently sat in an office where there's a "pick me up, I make you money" sign on each phone? Somewhere where there's numerous motivational quotes on the wall, telling you how success is measured and that you shouldn't wait for opportunity, but rather create it! Or a manager that insists on telling you about "the good old days" and how much money he/she made, a kin to those FX Trader ad videos on YouTube? Beer trolley rolling around with Co-Op's finest selection of Budwieser, Stella, Prosecco and Pinot Blush? Or maybe you've got a Director constantly shouting "Come on guys, I can hear a pin drop in here!" which is funny because the last BD call this Director made was a decade ago. I bet this is the same person who once told me "anyone who's opted out of our e-mailshots should be sent paper mailers" during a quiet Christmas period, once upon a time. Are you sick of hearing "alright part timer, you done already" when you decide to leave work at the time you're contacted to and not sit at your desk "tying up loose ends" just to appease the top brass? How about being given a small cross section of an already over crowded market split between 5-8 consultants all clamouring to make a placement and laying claim to the candidates in their postcode areas? Have you made your 50 BD calls this week? How about your candidate keep in touch calls? 

Future

We don't have bean bags, or a table tennis table (that you can't actually play, just look at). There's no fictitious office dog who's listed as a member of staff on the website. Cute. We don't wish to reward you and our "top billers" with all expense paid trips abroad with your colleagues. We don't offer you free fresh fruit and feed you toast on arrival. What we do is simple, but effective. We give YOU the tools you need, to make the money YOU want to make, so you can spend the time YOU hope to spend with the people YOU want to spend it with doing the things YOU want to do. Simple, right? You'll have your own desk to manage. You'll have your own portfolio of clients, PSLs and candidates to work with. You will build your market, mapping out where you work best. Then when the time is right, you'll grow a team. To fill the gaps that you cannot. 

Offer

Michael Sharma Group compete and we compete hard. We work with some of the biggest names in the Midlands market and feature on some impressive portfolios of PSLs. From bluechips, FTSE listed businesses to the SMEs and start-ups, our clients vary a lot. Our rates and fees are higher than the market average and we expect you to make more commission from your placements than you do now. We certainly are not a cutesy "boutique" agency with all smoke and no substance. 

What's on offer will depend on many variables, but these all revolve around you. Your experience. Your confidence. Your ability. - We expect you to negotiate with us. Don't let us down.

Salary - we can offer up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience

Commission - we're happy to offer you anything up to 35% of your billing, depending on your market and splits

Desk - Temp, Perm or Dual desk

Pension & Holidays - fully negotiable. 

 

We have an office based in Coventry, with inclusive on-site parking. Our working hours are flexible but we expect you to work SMART not hard. Our #ASmarterWayToRecruit isn't just a tag line, it's what we eat, sleep and breathe.
