Full-time (37 hours per week) Waste Contract Manager     contract to start on 03-02-20 until 31-10-20 with a possible extension.

Manage the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) service and contracts dealing with service issues, customer complaints, compliance issues, health and safety and contract management processes. Undertake contract re-procurements including for the street sweeping processing contract and the clinical waste service which will include all aspects of procurement including service review, soft market testing, developing tender documentation in conjunction with a procurement officer, following the  tender process through to award and mobilisation. Be responsible for following up on the recommendations to ensure the landfills are properly maintained and compliant.
