Part-time (24 hours per week) Waste Managing Director contract to start ASAP until 01-04-20 with a possible extension.
Define, develop and embed the culture and values of the new organisation, to create a sense of common purpose and ownership aligned to the Company’s vision, values and ambitions, in order to maximise the engagement of staff and customers. Ensure that the company delivers the service in accordance with the associated contractual service agreement and that service specification requirements are met in full. Engage staff, customers, representatives of the wider community and other key stakeholders in ensuring that services meet current and future needs, are of high quality, and achieve the best possible outcomes whilst delivering value for money and maintaining financial viability. Establish and embed a high performance culture within the organisation through the development and application of clear targets, which through proactive monitoring and evaluation, ensure accountability and support continuous improvement, value for money and quality. Constantly review and assess the organisation’s structure, processes and resources. Proactively develop innovative employment practices in relation to rewards, recruitment/retention, development, management, succession planning and talent management to ensure that the organisation has the capability to respond and adapt to change, as well as ensuring it is able to deliver high quality services.
