Linguistic Expert - Initial 6 month contract - Speech Recognition / Text to Speech / Phonetics / Semantics / Syntax

A global leader in consumer electronics for high-end electrical devices is looking for a Linguistic Expert to join them at their European HQ 30 minutes outside of London. This will be for an initial 6-month contract, with extension highly likely. 

In this role, you will own the process of providing linguistic expertise on areas like phonetics or semantics. 

Requirements:

• Degree in Linguistics, English or similar
• Experience in Speech Recognition or Text to Speech
• Experience with at least one linguistic area - British Phonetics, Semantics, Syntax or British dialects
• Exposure to scripting languages (desirable)
