My client in Oxford require a full time Executive Project Co-ordinator to join their team on a 12 month assignment.
Executive Project Co-ordinator
Job Purpose:-
- To undertake projects and to provide effective project management planning, implementation and support as part of the PMO team.
- To undertake a range of technical and business support tasks.
Job Responsibilities:-
To undertake projects and provide project management planning, implementation and support, including:-
- Lead on a range of small/medium projects which support the business transformation.
- To manage the support for our interactions with various stakeholders.
- Engage directly with business stakeholders as required for own projects and overall for the Transformation Programme as required.
- Ensure adherence to wider programme governance and reporting processes.
- Support the Transformation Programme and other projects including updating project management documents.
- Responsible for project administration and compliance with programme standards.
- Support the smooth running of the programme boards as required.
- Build strong relationships and trust with key business/programme stakeholders by demonstrating a deep understanding of their business issues and requirements.
- Manage project communications in line with defined standards.
To undertake a range of technical, business support and project management office tasks including:-
- Organising meetings and events including agenda and notes management.
- Preparing project and meeting documents such as presentations and reports.
- Tracking expenditure, supporting the management of approvals, booking meetings.
- Manage stakeholder queries appropriately.
- To support the management of key documents such as the business continuity plans, delegated authorities, and risk registers.
- Support for adhoc projects as required.
- To support members of the Leadership Team in project planning and delivery as required.
The successful candidate will have:-
- Degree level or equivalent.
- Experience of delivering a diverse range of small / medium projects in a business setting.
- Ability to work within a highly structured, project management environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities
- Significant experience in a senior administrative or project management office role in a busy environment.
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment with first class customer care skills.
- Ability to write clearly and accurately to customers and clients and to draft reports and procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to work under pressure, prioritise a diverse workload effectively, handle interruptions and conflicting demands.
- Ability to research, obtain and analyse information and data.
- Ability to undertake calculations, logically interpret conclusions and prepare statistics.
- Expert in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile PM or equivalent qualification
