Business Development Manager – Public Sector

My client is a global market leading IT services company looking to strengthen their sales team with the acquisition of a Business Development Manager, the role will be targeting new business within the public-sector industry. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of winning new business within in the public-sector industry.

What you'll do:

  • Create new relationships and display an understanding of the client industry, business environment and strategy to identify current and future opportunities for the company.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction all throughout the entire lifecycle of the process.
  • Effectively manage accounts, opportunities & pipeline
  • Keep up date with products & services
  • Be responsible for a number of key accounts
  • Increase demand by assisting client’s current needs

You'll definitely:

  • 10 years’ IT sales experience
  • Must have recent public sector experience.
  • Self-starter and excellent communicator
  • Highly motivated, ambitious and resilient.
  • Strong market knowledge 
  • Have experience of presenting at C-level
