THE ROLE OF A SENIOR ELECTRONICS ENGINEER:

As a senior electronics engineer, you will be based within the on-site workshop and service centre. In a nice, clean and relaxed (not high pressured!) environment you will be diagnosing, repairing and calibrating machines that are returned to the business due to a wide variety of faults.

This is not a repetitive production line and you will be challenged daily with new issues that arise to problem solve and fix.

In terms of the machinery itself, it will be high value, complicated electronics that you will be handling, hence a strong working knowledge of background in this area is key.

As part of your role, you will also be getting involved with the customer helpdesk as the more technical or complicated issues may need your electronics expertise to try and advise and fix.

EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A SENIOR ELECTRONICS ENGINEER:

It goes without saying that a strong knowledge of electronics and how to repair them is required within this role. Qualifications in this area are also useful but not essential.

Having worked in a similar environment is essential, understanding repair processes and how to self-start and be able to diagnose issues confidently.
